Join us at Mondi, where we strive to make a positive impact through responsible business practices and continuous innovation in packaging and paper solutions.\nSummary:\nThe Procurement Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring direct and indirect materials necessary to support production and operations -including paper, film, ink & glue, pallets, corrugated, maintenance supplies, and other indirect materials. This role focuses on supplier performance, cost optimization, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring full alignment with Mondi’s quality, sustainability, and compliance standards. This role is on-site at our Clinton, PA location.\nYour Mission:\nCreate and maintain all purchase orders including: paper, film, ink & glue, corrugated, maintenance, & other miscellaneous expenses \nEnsure purchase order cycle efficiency, effective purchase order management \nAudits invoices and checks for accuracy, receipt of material, and compliance with purchase orders \nMaterial part number creation and management \nPrepares reports and maintains accurate inventory and procurement records \nMonitor supplier performance through the life of the contract; Find opportunities to drive value through improvements in supplier performance \nIdentifies cost savings opportunities and makes recommendations to leadership team \nStrategic partner assessing risk, working with multiple suppliers across the plant, region and organization \nTrack key metrics such as cost savings, on-time delivery, and inventory turns \nImprove procurement processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance \nPrepares proposals, requests quotes, and negotiates purchase terms and conditions \nAnalyze industry and demand trends and supports leadership with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies \nAbility to work cross functionally to support other departments within the business \nSupport Corporate Procurement and Local Plant team \nEnsure procurement compliance with all Mondi policies and guidelines \nPerforms other duties and special projects as assigned by leadership \nYour Profile:\n5+ years of experience in Purchasing, Planning, Supply Chain or Manufacturing \nBachelor's degree preferred with emphasis on Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business or another applicable field \nSAP experience a plus \nStrong understanding of business processes \nExcellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills \nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team \nProject management experience a plus \nEffective skills to build relationships and productively interface with all levels of the business \nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite \nOur Offer:\nComprehensive base salary\nFull Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance\n401k Retirement Savings Plan, fully vested and company match\nAn interesting job within the packaging & paper industry\nOpportunities for professional growth\nGet in touch:\nWe strive to create a culture that inspires our people to reach their full potential.
