The role focuses on efficiency, quality, and safety within a fast-paced packaging environment.\nYour Mission:\nSet up the BOBST Masterfold for a variety of carton styles including straight-line, crash-lock, 4-point, and 6-point\nConfigure feeder, pre-breakers, folding sections, glue systems, and delivery\nAdjust belts, carriers, hooks, and folding rails for accurate carton forming\nRun the machine at optimal speeds while maintaining quality standards \nSet and time back-fold hooks and servo systems for 4/6 corner cartons \nEnsure correct folding sequences and glue application points\nTroubleshoot issues such as misfolds, fish-tailing, or poor squaring\nRecord quality checks per company procedures \nCarry out efficient job changeovers to minimise downtime\nPre-set tooling and prepare materials ahead of runs\nPerform daily cleaning and basic maintenance \nIdentify wear on belts, nozzles, and folding components \nWork with engineers on breakdowns and preventative maintenance \nOperate in line with site safety policies and machine guarding requirements \nUse PPE and follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when required \nMaintain high housekeeping standards (5S)\nYour Profile:\nExperience operating a BOBST Masterfold or similar high-speed folder-gluer machine is not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate\nMechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability \nStrong attention to detail with a focus on quality \nFamiliarity with packaging materials \nMust be flexible and able to work a rotating 3-shift pattern, covering days, afternoons, and nights.\n\nBenefits: Cafeteria; Health benefits; Meal discounts; Parking; Public transportation nearby\nGet in touch:\nWe strive to create a culture that inspires our people to reach their full potential.
