{"id":1196209,"url":"https://alion.io/job/mondigroup-maintenance-technician-2","title":"Maintenance Technician","company":{"id":713333,"name":"Mondi","domain":"mondigroup.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/mondigroup","size_band":"5000+","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"SuccessFactors","truth_index":null},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":"middle","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"inferred","locations":[],"countries":[],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":50000,"max_usd":90000,"period":"year","method":"role_seniority_country_remote_cell","sample_n":1182},"experience_years_min":4,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":true,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-09-10T02:00:00Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-09-10","last_verified_at":"2026-09-24T23:47:14Z","board_verified":false,"closed_at":null,"days_open":16,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":16},"description":"The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, general electric, troubleshooting and repair of all plant manufacturing machinery and facilities in a timely manner while taking direction from the Department Manager, Shift Supervisor, Team Lead and/or Production Manager.\nRESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:\nMust be able to perform the essential functions of the job.\nEnsures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications, troubleshooting malfunctions.\nLocates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.\nRemoves defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand power tools; examining form and texture of parts.\nDetermines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and others measuring instruments.\nControls downtime by ensuring routine preventive maintenance techniques are accomplished\nFabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment\nCommunicate with operators daily on shift to ensure machinery is running properly\nClean and maintain work areas in maintenance shop and around plant equipment after completing work\nRespond to emergency maintenance request as required\nFollow all plant rules and safety rules and regulations\nOrder parts for machinery for w/o’s on equipment needing repair\nOther duties as assigned\nREQUIREMENTS:\nHigh school diploma/GED and completion of skilled trade certificate program, Electrical and/or Mechanic certificate or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.\n4 plus years of manufacturing experience; mechanical and industrial skills with electrical, PLC HVAC experience preferred.\nAbility to read and comprehend drawings, blueprints and schematics\nBasic skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, piping, welding, and building maintenance required\nTRAINING:\nAs part of the hiring process, all new hires go through a training process during their orientation.
