This role focuses on optimizing production performance, controlling labor costs, and minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and adherence to operational benchmarks. It plays a critical role in developing, coaching, and motivating employees while enforcing company policies, GMPs, and compliance standards. Success in this role is driven by strong communication, team leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset to deliver reliable and efficient production outcomes.\nYour Mission: \nSupervise daily operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met\nDrive production efficiency while partnering with the Production Manager to control labor costs\nEnsure compliance with established run speeds and setup times\nIdentify and resolve mechanical, operational, and technical downtime issues\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and on-the-job assignments\nCommunicate clear expectations and provide direction to employees on shift\nMonitor quality by reviewing and initialing checklists during startup and production runs\nSupervise a team of approximately 25 employees across production, printing, maintenance, and shipping\nOversee and coordinate cross-functional operations to support overall plant performance\nMaintain accurate logs, reports, and ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures\nProvide shift production updates and escalate performance issues to leadership\nTrain, coach, mentor, and develop employees to improve performance and engagement\nConduct performance evaluations and address employee performance concerns\nEnforce company policies, GMPs, and quality standards; document and address non-compliance\nFoster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment\nManage staffing needs, attendance, and approve daily timekeeping records\nParticipate in meetings and contribute to operational planning and continuous improvement efforts\nYour Profile:\n3 years supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.\nA Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experience\nWork a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a rotating 3-2 schedule\nPrevious experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other relevant continuous improvement methods preferred\nIndustrial Safety and/or Technical Training preferred\nOur Offer:\nComprehensive base salary\nFull Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance\n401k Retirement Savings Plan, fully vested and company match\nAn interesting job within the packaging & paper industry\nOpportunities for professional growth\nGet in touch:\nWe strive to create a culture that inspires our people to reach their full potential.
