We support our plants through operational excellence, continuous improvement, digitalisation, data-driven performance management and the implementation of strategic projects.\nWe are now looking for a Operations Project Manager to join our Paper Bags Operations team and help drive this agenda forward.\nYour role\nAs Operations Project Manager, you will coordinate and deliver digital and operational improvement initiatives across the Paper Bags manufacturing network. You will work closely with plant teams, Operations leaders, IT and other stakeholders to turn data, technology and new ways of working into measurable improvements in operational performance.\nThis is a highly cross-functional and international role, combining digital project management, operational excellence, data analytics and manufacturing expertise.\nYour mission:\nDrive Continuous Improvement and operational excellence initiatives, including waste reduction and support for the Mondi Management System (MMS).\nLead selected digitalisation projects and initiatives across the Paper Bags segment, from planning through implementation and follow-up.\nCoordinate digital initiatives within the Plant of the Future roadmap and drive the adoption of new digital solutions across the organisation.\nWork closely with plants and Operations leaders to identify performance improvement opportunities and share best practices across the network.\nAnalyse operational KPIs and data, develop dashboards and reports, support benchmarking and translate data into actionable insights.\nBuild strong relationships with plant teams, Operations, IT and other stakeholders across an international, cross-functional organisation.\nSupport project budgeting, performance reporting, knowledge sharing and key Paper Bags Operations initiatives and events\nAct as Super Key and Deputy Business Process Owner DACO: DACO (DAta COllection) is our tailor-made Mondi Paper Bags Order Management Platform, that tracks a product's lifecycle from the moment a customer places an order to final delivery. You lead and participate on system developments, change requests, incidents and user support.\nYour profile:\nProven experience in project management, operational excellence, continuous improvement, manufacturing transformation or a related field.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations and industrial environments.\nDemonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and delivering initiatives from concept through implementation.\nStrong understanding of digitalisation and technology-enabled improvement, ideally within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience working with operational KPIs, data analysis, dashboards or performance management; knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI or similar tools is an advantage.\nStrong analytical capability, with the ability to transform complex data into clear insights and practical business recommendations.\nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, countries and organisational boundaries.\nA structured and pragmatic approach to project management, with strong follow-up and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nA proactive and creative mindset, with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working and identify better solutions.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nFluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.\nWillingness to travel internationally across the Paper Bags manufacturing network, approximately 25-50% of the time.\nAs part of their professional development, the Operations Project Manager will be assigned for a given period to a Paper Bags plant to cover Production/operations plant related roles.\nValuable: Expertise/education on lean manufacturing, six sigma green or black belt, or CI project management; expertise on IWS (Integrated working system) or Process Engineer; expertise on Production/Operations roles on manufacturing (preferably related to packaging industry)\nOur offer:\nAt Mondi, you will join an international team where you can make a visible impact across a global manufacturing network.
