Gathers and documents detailed business requirements and liaises with technology teams to align on proposed solutions. Documents test scenarios and perform traceability of requirements to application solutions.\nLocation: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.\nReporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Business Analysis and Governance.\nPosting Type: New Headcount.\nSalary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $71,000 - $100,000.\nTotal compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.\nYour Moneris Career - What you'll do\nSupport large scale projects of significant financial benefit (revenue generation and / or expense reduction) and with significant complexity from both business objectives and technical perspectives; complete and update project documentation, manage project scope, adjust schedules as necessary, determine daily priorities, manage customer relationships etc. \nAct as the subject matter expert on assigned systems and provide guidance to to business community on options available to solve complex business problems in creative ways, and in support of approved corporate projects.\nResponsible for the collection, analysis and documentation of business needs and impact assessments to support system change.\nDrive business groups to develop and document functional requirements and ensure that all documentation for any system changes is current, accurate, and centrally stored.\nFacilitate end-to-end collaboration across product and platform owners to ensure solution design and delivery approach is understood and achieve agreement between business and technical teams.\nWork with business groups to identify defects that require resolution and communicate any needed changes to the development team.\nAssist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules and ensure project goals are being met by managing issues and risks, and manage resources in accordance with project schedules.\nSubmit and track all change requests and requirements and documents including those for sizing and prioritization.\nYour Moneris Career - What you bring\nRequired skills and experience\nBachelor's degree required in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum 4 years of experience in a business analyst, project management, or relevant role.\nExperience in project management, change management, process and customer journey design.\nStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.\nStrong negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively work in teams across the organization with multiple stakeholders and to influence and align others.\nExperience that would set you apart\nPrevious experience in the payment industry is considered an asset.\nCBAP or PMI-BA.\nYour Moneris Career - What you get\nAt Moneris, we believe in empowering you to succeed-personally and professionally.
