Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.\nYour Moneris Career - What you'll do\nInstall, Troubleshoot, and service a wide range of electronic equipment and peripherals such as computers, printers, networks, cash registers, points-of-sale systems, security cameras as well as perform cabling installations and software updates as required.\nAnalyze problems and make recommendations to causes and corrective actions and always ensure that our merchants are satisfied with the issue resolution.\nInstall computers, printers, cash registers and points-of-sale systems and upgrade software.\nDevelop and maintain great relationships with our merchants by demonstrating professionalism at all times.Maintain tools, equipment, materials, the company vehicle and the general working evironment.\nWork closely with team members to resolve merchant issues as well as share technical knowledge and field experience with other technicians.\nWhere required, safely perform work involving ladders, elevated equipment or working at heights in accordance with applicable training and safety requirements.\nYour Moneris Career - What you bring\nAbility to use ladders and perform elevated work where required\nCommitment to following all health, safety and security procedures\nAbility to lift, carry and transport technical equipment and tools\nGood organizational and time-management skills\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities while travelling between merchant locations.\nAbility to work in confined spaces and handle small tools and equipment.\nPost-secondary certificate in electronics, information technology or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.\nA valid provincial driver's license.\nMinimum 2 years’ experience as a technical, client-facing role\n Experience testing and solving issues relating to computing, network, or point of sale terminals (POS).Knowledge of computers, general networking concepts, internet usage, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).\nEfficient and calm when dealing with situations ranging from routine to emergency.\nFlexible for rotating schedules which includes evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays (schedules are always communicated in advance).
