(MESL) and Monex Europe Markets S.V., S.A.U. (MEMSV). You will own the day-to-day accounting for both entities, become the reference point for local financial regulation and processes, and work closely with the Accounting Manager and the wider Finance fast.\nWhat You Will Do\nAccounting and Reconciliations\nRecord and maintain accurate accounting entries across the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable\nProcess invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time\nPerform regular reconciliations of bank, supplier, and balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly\nTrack and categorise expenses in line with the approved budget\nReporting and Closing\nSupport month-end and year-end closing processes\nContribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow)\nSupport budgeting and forecasting activities\nTax, Regulatory Compliance, and Audit\nSupport the preparation of tax returns and compliance filings (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and related reports)\nEnsure compliance with Spanish and international financial regulations applicable to both entities\nPrepare documentation for internal and external audits and act as a point of contact for auditors\nProcess Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes\nSupport the implementation of accounting system upgrades and automation tools\nWhat You Will Bring\n2-5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in financial services, audit, or a regulated environment\nDegree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field\nWorking knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC) and Spanish tax regulations\nExperience with ERP or accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)\nStrong Excel skills for reconciliations, analysis, and reporting\nHigh attention to detail, with strong organisational and time-management skills\nAnalytical, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team\nFluent Spanish
