dealing with any issues/tasks which may arise and to make sure they are dealt with in a professional and fluent manner.\nJob Overview\nThe Settlement Operations Manager supervises the day-to-day tasks, monitors performance and makes sure everything is done in compliance with the organization’s needs.\nFocusing on Payments and Reconciliations, the role ensures the company mitigates financial risk and provides a valued service to its clients.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage day-to-day activities of the MonFX Operations and Settlements team\nProvide advice or guidance for the Monex Group Operations where necessary\nLiaise with Clients, Brokers and Banks to facilitate settlement of FX transactions and cash flows\nOversee account reconciliation, remediation and liquidity management\nEnsure all payment error investigations and resolutions are completed daily\nManage client rolls or drawn downs for FX contracts\nManage daily swaps to maintain liquidity in all currencies\nAdhere to compliance processes and operational manuals\nEnsure the institution's policies and procedures are followed according to established guidelines\nOversee preparation of monthly account financial reconciliation reports\nPerform daily OTC derivatives reporting\nProvide solutions of client disputes and follow through accordingly\nCreate strategies with senior management and develop policies that are align to their strategies\nIdentify critical factors, evaluate options accurately, establish priorities and anticipate outcomes to support informed decision making\nExecute and oversee the Monetary Authority of Singapore regulatory submissions with care and precision\nPlay a key role in establishing and strengthening local banking relationships\nBuild relationships and on-board new Liquidity Partners, Counterparty banks\nPerform risk-based capital computations for FX derivatives products on behalf of the Group Risk & Treasury Department\nProvide guidance to MonFX’s front office on liquidity, margin and capital requirements for FX derivatives products\nDevelop and implement new processes to support emerging/new FX Client product offerings\nQualifications & Skills\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification\nPrior experience working within a regulated firm\nProven track record of supervising a team within a commercial environment\nStrong knowledge of Global and jurisdiction: Banking, currency, country and Payment Regulations etc.\nIn-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment in which an FX firm and payment service provider operates\nClear grasp of the objectives and importance of risk management and compliance in regulated environments\nSolid knowledge of FX markets, payments and derivative products\nAdvanced experience of International Payments, and different mediums of transfer i.e. SWIFT\nProficiency in performing accounting reconciliations\nAbility to provide FX product solutions for internal processes and prospect clients on settlement of currencies\nStrong aptitude for developing banking/brokering relationships and providers for communication channels\nForward thinking approach for operational analysis on innovative client processes\nCapability to recommend and implement system enhancements to build a strong operational infrastructure for both client portal and internal processes\nHigh level of currency and country regulation knowledge for FX products and payments\nAbility to plan and implement cost effective initiatives relating to operational charges\nKey Competencies\nStrong
