The successful candidate will engage CFOs, Controllers, Treasury, Finance, Operations, and Payments leaders to identify payment friction, cross-border challenges, reconciliation issues, and FX exposures that Monex can help solve.\nThis is an excellent opportunity to build a career across B2B payments, fintech, treasury technology, and foreign exchange, with potential progression into applicable Canadian regulatory requirements, including PIPEDA.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Development & Lead Generation\nResearch and identify target organizations with recurring cross-border payment, multi-currency, treasury, or FX requirements.\nBuild prospect lists using market intelligence, CRM tools, referrals, networking, and other channels.\nConduct outbound outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, events, referrals, and partner introductions.\nDevelop tailored messaging that connects Monex's payment, FX, and treasury capabilities to prospect needs.\nSchedule qualified discovery meetings for senior sales and enterprise payments specialists.\nDevelop relationships with CFOs, Controllers, Treasury, Finance, Operations, and Payments leaders.\nEnterprise Payment Sales Support\nParticipate in client discovery conversations and develop an understanding of enterprise payment workflows.\nIdentify client challenges across:Cross-border payments\nMulti-currency collections\nSupplier payments\nTreasury operations\nFX risk management\nPayment automation\nAPI and file-based integrations\nReconciliation workflows\n\nSupport proposal development, presentations, teams.\nPipeline Management\nMaintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking.\nManage prospecting cadences and follow-up activities.\nTrack opportunities from initial contact through qualification.\nMaintain accurate pipeline information and provide regular activity and opportunity reporting to management.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\n1-4 years of experience in business development, sales, financial services, payments, fintech, banking, SaaS, or a related industry.\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills.\nComfortable initiating conversations with senior business leaders.\nHighly motivated and commercially driven, with a strong interest in new business development.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating across teams.\nExperience using CRM and sales engagement platforms.\nFinancially and commercially curious, with an interest in global markets.\nAdditional Qualifications\nExperience in payments, foreign exchange, treasury, fintech, banking, or financial technology.\nKnowledge of international payments or financial services.\nPrevious success in outbound sales or business development.\nBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.\nAdditional language skills are an asset.\nSuccess Measures\nSuccess in this role will
