Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.\nThis role will be based remotely in the United States.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign, build, and maintain Salesforce solutions across sales, service, customer, and operational workflows\nImplement functionality using Salesforce configuration, Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and platform automation\nDevelop and support integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems\nTranslate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions\nParticipate in technical design reviews, sprint planning, code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, integrations, data integrity, and system performance\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, support UAT and regression testing, and assist with user enablement\nEnsure all solutions comply with Salesforce best practices, internal security standards, and regulatory requirements\nLeverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and analysis, while adhering to security and compliance guidelines\nResponsibilities\nTechnical Delivery: Own end-to-end delivery of Salesforce features using a mix of declarative and programmatic solutions\nSecure Engineering: Design and implement solutions that meet FedRAMP, security, and compliance requirements, including least-privilege access and auditability\nIntegration Design: Build and maintain secure integrations between Salesforce and downstream systems\nEngineering Excellence: Maintain high standards for code quality, test coverage, and modular design\nPlatform Optimization: Identify and remediate performance issues and technical debt\nCollaboration & Influence: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to shared engineering standards and best practices\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience\n6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience\nStrong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs\nExperience designing and supporting complex Salesforce automation and business workflows\nExperience integrating Salesforce with external enterprise systems\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Salesforce release management\nStrong understanding of Salesforce security, data governance, and implementation best practices\nExperience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA)\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills\nSalesforce Platform Developer I or II certification required\nU.S. citizenship is required due to federal compliance obligations\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience supporting FedRAMP-authorized or U.S. government environments\nExperience implementing role-based access control, field-level security, encryption, and audit logging in Salesforce\nFamiliarity with Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or Git-based DevOps workflows\nWorking knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Visualforce\nExperience supporting UAT, regression testing, and business enablement in regulated environments\nPractical experience using AI-assisted development tools in a secure and compliant manner\nSuccess Measures\nIn 3 months: Gain a strong understanding of the Salesforce architecture, compliance constraints, and business processes\nIn 6 months: Deliver secure, compliant enhancements and become a dependable contributor to key initiatives\nIn 12 months: Be recognized as a trusted Salesforce SME, influencing platform design, security posture, and engineering standards\nAbout MongoDB\nMongoDB is built for change, empowering our customers and our people to innovate at the speed of the market.
