As Nigeria’s largest merchant acquirer, it powers most of the country’s Point of Sale (POS) transactions.processes $22 billion monthly for its customers while operating profitably.\n\nAbout the role\n\nWe’re looking for a Copywriter to join our Creative team.This role is for you if you’re a strong writer, a curious thinker, and a customer-focused creative who knows how to turn ideas and insights into clear, engaging copy that people understand and act on.\n\nYou should understand consumer behaviour, enjoy solving communication problems, and know how to make complex information simple and relatable.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDevelop creative concepts and copy for campaigns across OOH, digital, social, TV, radio, CRM, performance, and other channels.\nWork with Product, Growth, Design, Motion, Animation, Marketing, CRM, and Social teams to develop and execute campaigns.\n\nTranslate complex financial products, features, and services into simple, relatable messaging that customers can understand and trust.\n\nWrite performance marketing copy for platforms including Google, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.\n\nCreate culturally relevant content that reflects our customers' realities, behaviours, and everyday experiences.\n\nWork closely with designers and other creatives to ensure copy and visual execution work together.\n\nSupport product launches, seasonal campaigns, partnerships, and customer education initiatives.\n\nRequirements:\n\n 3+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency, brand, fintech, technology, media, or consumer-facing environment.\n\nA strong portfolio demonstrating good writing, creative thinking, and experience across different channels.\n\nExperience developing copy for campaigns, product launches, social media, CRM, performance marketing, and digital platforms.\n\nExperience writing scripts for motion graphics and animated videos\n\nExperience writing performance marketing copy for platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.\n\nFamiliarity with content best practices is an advantage.\n\nAbout you:\n\nCreative thinker: You can take a brief and find an interesting, relevant way to communicate the message.\n\nCustomer obsessed :You think about who you're speaking to and what matters to them before you start writing.\n\nClear communicator:You know how to make complex ideas simple without losing what makes them important.\n\nCommercially aware :You understand that good copy should serve a purpose, whether that's building awareness, driving action, educating customers, or improving engagement.\n\nInsights driven: You’re interested in customer behaviour and use research, feedback, and performance data to make your work better.\n\nCollaborative :You work well with designers, marketers, strategists, product teams, and other creatives and are open to feedback.\n\nDetail oriented: You care about the words you put out into the world and take pride in getting the details right.\n\nAdaptable :You can move between a campaign headline, product script, CRM campaign, or performance marketing copy, without losing the core idea or brand voice\n\nWhat we can offer you\n\nCulture -We put our people first and prioritize the well-being of every team member.
