If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, we encourage you to apply!\nResponsibilities\nDevelop data pipelines and solutions across cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.\nSupport the authentication and integration of platform APIs and help automate an end to end ETL processes for data integration and transformation.\nParticipate and collaborate in the design and implementation of data models and data warehouses. \nDevelop data transformation recipes that efficiently transform raw data into structured formats suitable for data warehousing.\nSupport and maintain with the documentation for data models, including architecture diagrams, schema, definitions, and metadata.\nMonitor and troubleshoot data pipelines’ issues to ensure timely data availability.\nCollaborate with the data science team to integrate and build ML models and Gen-AI applications.\nPossess good data literacy and understand how technical data applications create business value.\nCommunicate progress and findings to both technical and non-technical team members.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment\nRequirements\nBachelor or Masters in a quantitative subject such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.\n5+ years of working experience in data science or data engineering or a related field.\nAssociate Cloud Certification such as GCP Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or any equivalent. \nProficiency in Python and SQL. \nExpertise in authenticating and authorising API requests using methods such as OAuth and API keys and troubleshooting common API-related challenges.\nSolid understanding of data structures and databases.\nGood understanding of data modeling concepts and tools such as dbt or Dataform.\nSolid understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts and experience with tools like Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery.\nFamiliarity with data privacy principles and best practices.\nFluent English communication and written skills.\n Preferred Requirements:\nBachelor or Masters Degree in Data Science. \nProfessional Cloud Certification.\nExperience with CI/CD and version control tools.\nFamiliarity with marketing analytics tools and data (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).\nFamiliarity with social data (e.g. Instragram, Facebook, Tiktok).\nExperience with machine learning and Gen-AI models.\nDutch native speaker is required for this role. \nAt Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
