Working as part of the SysOps IT team, your observations and input will help drive the evolution of tech administration within our company as we look to establish stronger policies, more security, better organization, and enhanced efficiency. Automating IT tasks will be a focus. \nThis role is well-suited for those who are self-sufficient, dependable, looking for new challenges, and are interested in expanding their skillset.\nThis is a hybrid role, with infrequent, office attendance at our Kuala Lumpur office.\nResponsibilities will include: \nRegional SaaS & MDM Escalation\n Regional Support: Act as the primary escalation path during local office hours for tools managed by the global team (including Slack, Google Workspace, Jamf, and Intune).\nTier 2/3 Resolution: Resolve complex technical issues that standard IT support cannot handle, ensuring seamless operation for the local team before the global admins come online.\nISO 27001 Compliance & Audit\nAudit Readiness: Help prepare the IT environment for ISO 27001 audits by maintaining strict access controls and change management records.\nEvidence Collection: Be an active participant in audit interviews, providing \"point-in-time\" evidence such as access logs, termination of access reports, and proof of system patching.\nBackground Sought\nTechnical Background Sought:\nCloud-Based Business Platform Administration: Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise Grid and Atlassian Org Administration.\n\nIdentity & Endpoint Management: OneLogin, Jamf, Intune, and Action1.\n\nBonus points for experience with automation or APIs.\n\nFamiliarity with at least one scripting language.\n\nGeneral Requirements:\nTypically 3-5+ years in systems administration or a similar operational role.\n\nExperience running audits/reports and presenting findings.\n\nFlexibility in working hours.\n\nExhibits patience and resilience under pressure.\n\nDetail-oriented and strong organizational skills.\n\nStrong verbal & written communication skills.\n\nSelf-sufficient, proactive, and ready for a challenge.\n\nStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.\n\nAbout Monks\nMonks is the global, digital-first, data-driven, unitary operating brand of S4Capital plc, where our culture centers on how we show up for the work and for one another.
