This busy, hands-on role will be a key part of the regional Finance team and offers a range of responsibilities including managing the day-to-day financial operations, month end accounting and compliance. This is a full-time position and you’ll enjoy being part of a collaborative, supportive and results driven team that thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment. \nResponsibilities include(but not limited to):\nAccounting and Reporting \nMaintain the General Ledger Accounts\nManage Fixed Asset/Prepayment/Expense Accrual schedules\nManage Balance Sheet reconciliations\nReconcile COGS accrual and bills on a monthly basis\nManage month end closing and statutory financial reporting accurately to meet reporting deadlines\nReview and analysis of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts\nPreparation and lodgement of payroll tax and BAS/IAS/GST/VAT\nAssist with consolidating quarter/half year/year end accounts and prepare papers for the S4 group\nAssist with financial analysis\nTax and Audit\nLiaise with the external tax advisory for any withholding tax (GST/CIT) implications in the existing and new markets\nAssist with statutory tax lodgement\nAssist with the Global and local statutory audit\nGovernance \nMaintain and improve process and internal controls, following up the mitigating action of internal control weaknesses \nWork with the external bookkeepers/vendors\nOther \nAssist with ad hoc tasks and any other activities directed by Management\nWhat you bring to it:\nBachelors in Finance/Accounting or related fields \n3+ years accounting experience, 1+ years post qualification experience with a similar role\nAPAC experience preferred\nCPA preferred\nYear-end reporting and audit experience\nMonth-end experience involving complex accounting treatments\nProven experience in consolidation to International Group Company financial reporting\nExperience in AdTech or technology startups preferred\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nStrong work ethic and ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments\nAbility to multi-task with attention to details and minimal supervision\nAbout Monks\nMonks is the global, digital-first, data-driven, unitary operating brand of S4Capital plc, where our culture centers on how we show up for the work and for one another.
