Working in close partnership with client stakeholders and a distributed global team, this role will transform existing footage, design assets and approved content into polished, engaging video and motion deliverables.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong editing instincts with motion-design expertise. You should be equally comfortable shaping an edit, animating graphics and timing visuals to audio, while working closely with the design team to maintain a cohesive visual system.\nAn interest in AI, emerging technology and new approaches to creative production is essential.\nThis is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with a possibility of extension or conversion. \nWhat You'll Do\nEdit existing footage and approved content into clear, engaging video deliverables.\nCreate motion graphics, animated typography, transitions and supporting visual elements.\nApply established brand guidelines, motion principles and design systems across all work.\nUse existing content thoughtfully to make technical and editorial stories more dynamic and accessible.\nTime edits and animation precisely to voiceover, music and other audio elements.\nPartner with designers to adapt static assets, layouts, charts and graphics for motion.\nWork with technical writers and producers to maintain narrative clarity and content accuracy.\nInterpret briefs and feedback independently, identifying gaps and asking focused questions when needed.\nCreate efficient workflows and reusable motion components that support rapid-turn production.\nPrepare organized project files that can be easily understood and continued by distributed teams.\nSupport clear, documented handoffs when work continues across regions or shifts.\nConduct thorough self-QA across visual quality, timing, audio, spelling, brand alignment, specifications and version control.\nIncorporate feedback quickly while maintaining craft and consistency.\nUse approved AI and creative technology tools to support editing, animation and production efficiency.\nMaintain discretion when working with confidential and highly sensitive information.\nWhat You'll Bring\n5+ years of experience in motion design, video editing or post-production within an agency, technology company or in-house creative organization.\nAdvanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.\nWorking proficiency in Figma, including navigating files, reviewing components and exporting production-ready assets.\nStrong motion-graphics, animation and editorial storytelling skills.\nExperience working with existing footage, static design assets, voiceover and music.\nStrong understanding of pacing, timing, composition, typography and audio synchronization.\nAbility to animate charts, diagrams and technical information clearly and accurately.\nFamiliarity with established brand systems, templates and reusable motion toolkits.\nStrong file organization, version-control and self-QA practices.\nAbility to work autonomously, manage rapid turnarounds and maintain quality when priorities shift.\nExperience working effectively across regions, time zones and distributed teams.\nClear communication and collaboration skills.\nInterest in AI, emerging technology and production innovation.\nAbout Monks\nMonks is the global, digital-first, data-driven, unitary operating brand of S4Capital plc, where our culture centers on how we show up for the work and for one another.
