This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development of Monocle’s digital products at an important stage in their evolution, working across several areas of the business and helping us to build stronger product processes and capabilities for the future.\nAbout the role\nIn addition to Monocle’s editorial work, our digital ecosystem includes subscription account management, a radio station and an e-commerce platform. As part of the digital team, the Product Manager is responsible for ensuring that we have a clear roadmap, our stakeholders and agency partners are engaged and informed, and the digital team and its external partners are up to speed with feature development, fixes and automation.\nResponsibilities will include:\nProduct strategy\nWork with the Head of Digital to help define and communicate the product strategy for Monocle’s digital ecosystem and how it supports our global media brand\nCollaborate with our agency partners and internal teams to build exceptional products \nUse data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and guide product development\nManage stakeholder expectations across our diverse international operation\nPrioritise initiatives that drive the highest-value outcomes for both users and the business \nCross-functional collaboration\nAct as the bridge between technical and non-technical colleagues, translating complex concepts\nFacilitate collaboration through regular team co-ordination and clear communication, building trust and credibility\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate:\nBetween three and five years of product management experience, ideally in a publishing, subscriptions and/or e-commerce environment\nExperience working within agile methodology\nA keen interest in the Monocle brand and its digital potential\nExperience aligning cross-functional teams while juggling the competing priorities of multiple stakeholders \nPrevious success in rapidly building trust and credibility at all levels of a business\nAbility to own product requirement discovery and alignment\nA suite of tools and methods at your disposal to work efficiently throughout the product lifecycle\nExperience working with external engineering teams and agency partners is desirable but not essential \nThe details\nThis is a full-time position based at Midori House, Marylebone. Our working hours are 09.30 to 18.30 and the role is based in the office five days a week. Some travel might be required depending on the needs of individual projects.
