The Logistics Lead will entail daily oversight of shipping, slotting, inventory control, warehouse cleanliness and organization, and company material handling assets and systems. The Logistics Lead directs the physical, storage, movement, internal distribution and outbound shipments of all components, materials, and finished goods. Key responsibilities are to be performed with permitting Safety first while following all company and OSHA safety guidelines.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nLeads Forklift Operators to ensure loads are being loaded accurately and efficiently Schedules daily assignments in accordance with best practices for all Forklift Operators based on daily truck schedule posted from Logistics Office\n Coordinates and assigns specific FG item locations to be used for daily outbound shipments to maintain maximum efficiency and lean headcount\n Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers as necessary\n Ship customer orders accurately and timely based on shipping schedule set forth by Logistics Coordinator\n Provide all outbound shipments with proper and necessary documentation including but not limited to: packing slips, commercial invoices, BOLs, etc.\n\nPerforms daily slotting (Warehouse/Production) of Finished Goods to ensure efficient warehouse utilization and accuracy Ensures all products and locations are organized and neat\n Audits that first in first out (FIFO) product movement is being followed\n Identifies any FG non-conformity and communicates to QA and Internal Supply Chain Supervisor\n\nPerforms monthly inventory cycle count (including storage trailers) Identifies and reports required inventory adjustments to Internal Supply Chain Supervisor\n Monitors inventory for overruns, short skids, and damaged product and reports any concerns to Internal Supply Chain Supervisor\n Reports discrepancies to Internal Supply Chain Supervisor\n\nProvides training to newly added warehouse personnel and assembly team; ensuring that each employee has copies of proper warehouse processes Scan Guns\n Proper and safe loading/unloading of trailers\n Proper stacking/storing of product\n\nParticipates in and assists with Lean Initiatives Recommendations for Warehouse improvements and efficiencies\n Maintains current Lean processes\n\nNotifies Internal Supply Chain Supervisor immediately of maintenance issues concerning Forklifts/Batteries, Scan Guns/Tablets, and Dock equipment\nLeads Warehouse Assembly Team to ensure production is performed accurately and efficiently Assists with problem solving errors and inaccuracies\n Schedules Daily assignments for all assembly team operators and provides tasks for product labeling and assembly\n Performs order prep and dispositioning of Finished Goods, Retagging inventory, hot-stamping machine setup/changeovers for assembly team\n Provides production reporting in IQMS\n\nTracks, records, and reports to Internal Supply Chain Supervisor all customer related issues regarding outbound shipments to develop a strategy to address any internal process failures or gaps\nAssists with ensuring OSHA safety guidelines are being met and maintained\nComplete any tasks or duties as assigned by the Internal Supply Chain Supervisor and/or Logistics Management\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of Warehouse leadership experience required\nManufacturing / Production environment experience preferred\nAbility to organize and prioritize tasks/projects to meet deadlines\nStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office, inventory/shipping systems\nAdvanced math and recording skills\nGreat communication and interpersonal abilities\nProven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment\nAbility to work with minimal supervision\nSuccessfully complete and maintain the OSHA forklift certification training\nComprehensive Benefits & Perks:\n Financial Wellness: 401(k) retirement plan with company match and annual/quarterly bonus opportunities.\nHealth Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.\nSecurity: Short-term and long-term disability insurance.\nOptional Extras: Employee-paid voluntary life insurance and supplemental benefits.\nTime Off: Competitive PTO, paid holidays, and a company-paid Christmas shutdown.\nUnique Perks: Raffles for concerts, sports, and entertainment tickets.\n Locally sourced prize raffles.\n Monthly happy hours to unwind and connect with the team.\n\nWho we are:\nMonoflo International, Inc. stands as a prominent provider of innovative and eco-friendly business-to-business reusable packaging solutions.
