Our portfolio of technology helps power our world ---come join our team and see how YOU can make a difference.\nJob Description:\nPosition: Application Engineering Manager (DDR5, SPDHUB/TS focus)\nReport to: Senior AE Manager / AE Director\nUnderlying:1\nLocation: Chengdu\nSummary:\nSPD Hub Application Engineering Manager will lead the validation and characterization of digital logic for DDR5 SPD Hub (Serial Presence Detect Hub) including register interface, control logic, security features, and I3C/I²C communication modules. This position requires both technical and leadership skills owning solid digital design fundamentals, familiarity with memory architecture, and experience in PCB Design, Python Scripting while working closely with multi-disciplinary groups to drive and design key aspects of SPD Hub products.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelop reference design for Data Center applications.\nDevelop custom PCBs using our solution for worldwide customers.\nDevelop and prototype new concepts with the support of FPGAs.\nDefine specifications and support the development of new products for the Data Center product line.\nRoad Test and qualify new parts according to the requirements of the part.\nWrite technical articles, datasheets, and application notes.\nSupport MPS’s sales team and customers.\nParticipate in bring-up, validation, and failure analysis for engineering samples.\nProvide documentation including design spec, timing diagrams, and integration guide.\nGood written/verbal communication English skills and strong team work/collaboration.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nMS in related engineering field\n5-8 years of industry experience in electronics\nSolid understanding of circuits, signal integrity, transmission lines,\nUnderstanding of clock recovery circuits and equalization techniques\nSolid experience with PCB design with high-speed signals\nGood knowledge of high-speed communication protocols and testing\nOral / written proficiency in English\nExcellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills\nExperience with DDR5 SPD Hub or RCD/PMIC product development\nSolid understanding of power regulation architectures\nKnowledge of I3C (MIPI) protocol, I²C/SMBus, or SPD EEPROM behavior.\nExperience with security logic, including encryption/authentication basics.\nExperience with programming, scripting and automation\nLanguages like Perl/TCL/Unix/Python and C/C++\nExecuting tasks that hit project milestones\nPrevious experience with sensor and temperature sensors\nMonolithic Power Systems, Inc.
