Join an established and rapidly growing segment of electronics.\nOur paid Applications Engineer (AE) interns will learn about the company, business, products, technology and team. The intern will be engaged with the AE team providing technical support and development of analog IC and module products for power conversion solutions. Job duties include the simulation and bench evaluation for new products, providing reference designs, debugging customer designs, and writing application notes.\nResponsibilities:\nResearch MPS company, power products and technology.\nProvide application support for customers and Field Application Engineers (FAE).\nWork with AEs and DEs on new product evaluation and debugs.\nWrite application notes, design notes, and articles.\nWork in office, or lab, 3 days per week as coordinated with supervisor.\nPresent project summary and results to senior leadership.\nQualifications:\nWritten and verbal proficiency in English with excellent communication skill\nHands on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing.\nExperience with schematic capture and PCB layout\n3rd year BSEE or 4th year MSEE student\nMust be able to live in San Jose during internship\nBenefits:\nAttractive compensation\nJoin an international work environment where your ideas count and where you can thrive in a diverse culture\nExplore a world of opportunities for your personal and professional development\nLocation:\nSan Jose, CA\nPay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons.
