This is a full time internship opportunity, ideally for at least 12 weeks. Timeline can be flexible for Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer.\nThe qualified Applications Engineer (AE) interns will learn about the company, business, products, technology,and team. The intern will be engaged with the AE team providing technical support and development of analog IC and module products for DC-DC power conversion solutions. Job duties include the simulation and bench evaluation for new products, providing reference designs, debugging customer designs, and writing application notes.\nResponsibilities:\nResearch MPS company, power products and technology.\n\nProvide application support for customers and Field Application Engineers (FAE).\n\nWork with AEs and DEs on new product evaluation and debugs.\n\nWrite application notes, design notes, and articles.\n\nWork in an office, or lab, 3 days per week as coordinated with supervisor.\n\nPresent project summary and results to senior leadership.\n\nQualifications:\nWritten and verbal proficiencyin English with excellent communication skills.\n\nHands on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing.\n\nExperience with schematic capture and PCB layout.\n\n3rdyear BSEE or 4thyear MSEE student.\n\nLocation:\nSan Jose, CA\n\nKirkland, WA\n\nDetroit, MI\n\nPay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons.
