Directly support the head of corporate development in high-stake deal execution and strategic decision-making.\nPosition Responsibilities\nMarket and industry research: Research and synthesize industry trends, competitive landscape, value chain, and potential target companies to assist the long-term corporate strategy\nDeal sourcing & Pipeline development: Identify and reach out to the companies with strong strategic and business value proposition, with a focus on technology capability\nEcosystem engagement: Develop and maintain communication with deep tech investors and entrepreneurs in APAC area\nDue diligence: Facilitate cross-functional (legal, finance, product, etc.) due diligence workstreams to synthesize and evaluate information on target companies\nPresentation Preparation: Prepare clear and compelling presentations and investment memorandum for investment committee (IC), senior management and executives to support decision-making\nPortfolio management: Support the development and maintenance of the partnership and investment deal pipeline, including tracking potential targets and managing their status\nStrategic initiatives: Contribute to ad-hoc strategic projects, which may include new product partnership development and execution\nPosition requirements\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/computer engineering, or a related STEM field; Prefer candidates with advanced degrees (master, Ph.D., post-doc)\nExcellent verbal and written communication in Mandarin and English\nSelf-motivated and strong execution with ownership and result-oriented mindset\nGenuine curiosity in the newest technology\nCritical thinker\nStrong sense of integrity\nPrefer candidates with knowledge and understanding of semiconductor and AI industry technology, trend and market landscape\nPrefer candidates with prior internship or work experience in venture capital, private equity, or management consulting\nMonolithic Power Systems, Inc.
