Our portfolio of technology helps power our world ---come join our team and see how YOU can make a difference.\nJob Description:\nJOB FUNCTIONS\nArchitecting hardware solutions to enable company product compliance to applicable safety standards such as ISO26262 and IEC61508\nWorking with engineering teams (technical marketing, design, quality and more) to support the Functional Safety Manager to derive functional safety requirements in compliance with state-of-the-art automotive standards\nOverseeing and owning implementation of ISO26262 documentation in JAMA\nPerforming the safety analysis, such as DFA, FMEDA, and FTA\nSupporting the safety assessments with 3rd party assessors\nPartnering with technical marketing engineers to develop mutually agreeable design specifications\nParticipating in ISO 26262 standards conference\nEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS\nBS or MS in electrical engineering, system engineering, or automotive engineering\nEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nStrong understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC’s\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions and across regions\nStrong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment\nAbility to take the initiative and drive for results\nStrong understanding of the functional safety relevant IC product development process a plus\nAutomotive or industrial experience a plus\nExperience with ISO26262 or IEC61508 a plus\nExperience with MCU or sensor development a plus\nMonolithic Power Systems, Inc.
