The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our 24/7 production environment, managing infrastructure, and driving continuous improvement in our systems and processes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide 24/7 support for production systems, ensuring high availability and performance\n\nDesign, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions using a variety of technologies\n\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, and Ansible\n\nManage and optimize Linux and Windows operating systems\n\nImplement and maintain API integrations to enhance system interoperability\n\nAdminister and troubleshoot OpenStack and VMware environments\n\nManage and optimize storage solutions, including Nimble, Pure, and NetApp systems\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and support multiple projects simultaneously\n\nContinuously improve infrastructure and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability\n\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nProven experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering role, preferably in a 24/7 production environment\n\nStrong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems\n\nProficiency in Python, Bash, and Ansible scripting\n\nExperience with API integration and development\n\nHands-on experience with OpenStack and VMware virtualization technologies\n\nFamiliarity with storage systems, particularly Nimble, Pure, and NetApp\n\nExperience in data center operations and management\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure\n\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field\n\nRelevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware, Red Hat)\n\nExperience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)\n\nKnowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)\n\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)\n\nKey Attributes:\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\n\nStrong multitasking skills to manage multiple projects concurrently\n\nProactive approach to problem-solving and system optimization\n\nCommitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies\n\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as part of the 24/7 support rotation\n\nThis role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a challenging and rewarding environment.
