Furthermore, the PME needs to have input to product data sheets and applications support materials.\nWork with all inquiries for MPS products from our field sales, applications engineers and customers via telephone or electronic communication.\n Essential Functions:\nNew Product definition: translate feedback from customers and market trends into requirements for design team\nProduct launch.\nPricing.\nCompetitive analysis.\nMarket Research: Identify growing markets, potential products and features that fit given applications, quantify the business case\nTroubleshooting issues and problems.\nCommunication with sales team: build relationships, align on short term and long term growth strategy, train the sales team on new product promotion\nPromotion of the products through advertising, editorials, written articles and other collateral materials (such as data sheets, data books, brochures, selection guides, etc.).\nDrive marketing/promotion materials with technical understanding of how MPS product features translate to customer application benefits.\nVisit customers to build relationships, promote products, negotiate pricing, extract market trends and requirements\nExcellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.\nAssist in go to market strategy to accelerate and gain share.\nDrive technology roadmap execution to clearly meet market needs going forward.\nQualifications:\nResponsibilities include identifying and developing future business in the Telecommunications, Consumer, Industrial and Automotive market segments.\nSpecific emphasis on interconnect and accelerator applications preferred\nInternship experience in Marketing / Applications within an Analog IC Company\nBSEE or higher preferred\nLocation:\nRaleigh, NC\nMonolithic Power Systems, Inc.
