You will play a critical role in shaping product direction, winning key customers, and accelerating growth in high-impact markets such as data center, AI infrastructure, and industrial systems.\nThis position requires a hands-on technical leader who can move seamlessly from lab bench to executive discussion-driving innovation while navigating the scale and complexity of a top-tier semiconductor company.\nEssential Functions\nDefine and execute technical marketing strategy for DC-DC power module portfolios, aligned with corporate growth objectives\nAct as the voice of the customer, translating system-level requirements into clear product definitions and actionable roadmaps\nLead and work closely with R&D teams to influence architecture, feature prioritization, and performance targets (efficiency, density, thermals, cost)\nLead development of new product roadmaps by influencing cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, QA, and operations\nChampion fast decision-making and execution, cutting through organizational complexity to accelerate outcomes\nDrive design-in and design-win activities with key customers by providing deep technical engagement and system-level guidance\nDeliver hands-on application support, including converter design guidance, simulation, lab validation, and debugging\nMentor junior engineers and help cultivate a high-performance, entrepreneurial team culture 2\nRepresent the company at customer meetings, industry conferences, and technical forums\nRequired Qualifications\nMaster’s degree or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or related discipline\n10+ years of experience in power electronics, with strong hands-on expertise in:Switching converter design (buck, boost, multiphase, resonant/LLC, etc.)\nDC-DC power modules, POL converters, or power management ICs\nControl loop design, magnetics, and system-level power architecture\n\nDemonstrated ability to design, build, and debug hardware in the lab\nStrong understanding of end systems (data center/AI, networking, industrial, or automotive power architectures)\nProven track record of customer engagement and influencing technical decisions\nSolid business acumen, including understanding of market dynamics, product positioning, and cost/performance trade-offs\nExperience leading projects or initiatives with cross-functional impact\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage audiences from engineers to executives\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in applications engineering within a semiconductor company or power converter, power module design in system/power Company\nFamiliarity with high-density power module integration, advanced packaging, and thermal design\nKnowledge of industry standards (e.g., PMBus, VR specifications, OCP, automotive AEC-Q standards)\nExperience supporting hyperscale or Tier-1 customers\nTrack record of operating effectively in large organizations while driving startup-like execution speed\nWhat Sets This Role Apart\nOpportunity to influence high-visibility product lines in a global semiconductor leader\nImpact on AI/data center power infrastructure, one of the fastest-growing markets\nA culture that values ownership, speed, and technical excellence, enabling you to operate like a startup within a large company\nHigh exposure to executive leadership and strategic customers\nMPS offers a comprehensive benefits package.
