This position plays an integral role in supporting our people, culture, and talent strategies across our three divisions.\nThe HR Generalist will lead and continuously improve critical HR processes, with a strong focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, and the day-to-day team member experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to grow with our organization!\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nTalent Acquisition\nCoordinate and facilitate full-cycle recruiting activities across the organization.\nPartner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and establish hiring timelines.\nDraft and post engaging job advertisements across recruiting, professional, social media, and community platforms.\nSource candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, community partnerships, and direct outreach.\nScreen applications, conduct phone interviews, and provide objective candidate recommendations.\nCoordinate interviews, assessments, feedback, candidate communications, and selection activities.\nBuild talent pipelines for recurring and strategically important positions.\nDevelop relationships with colleges, universities, workforce development organizations, apprenticeship programs, recruiting firms, and community partners.\nManage recruiting advertising and sourcing investments, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend adjustments.\nDevelop and maintain recruiting dashboards and key performance indicators.\nCollaborate with the Marketing team on employment branding and recruiting campaigns.\nOnboarding and New Team Member Experience\nLead onboarding activities for newly hired team members.\nCoordinate onboarding requirements with hiring managers and internal departments.\nFacilitate new hire orientation and ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.\nServe as a primary resource for new team members as they transition into the organization.\nIdentify opportunities to strengthen and improve the onboarding experience.\nInternship Programming\nCoordinate Montante’s summer internship program, including intern orientation, developmental programming, communications, calendars, and program logistics.\nWork with internal stakeholders to create a meaningful and engaging intern experience.\nCoordinate job site visits, company celebrations, recognition activities, community involvement opportunities, and other culture-building programs.\nGather participant feedback, evaluate program outcomes, and recommend improvements to internship and early talent initiatives.\nTeam Member Support and Engagement\nRespond to routine HR questions and provide exceptional service to team members and leaders.\nSupport employee engagement initiatives and help expand programming as the organization grows.\nMaintain training, certification, and participation records.\nAssist with employee relations matters by gathering information, documenting concerns, and escalating sensitive issues appropriately.\nSupport the administration and communication of HR policies and procedures.\nAssist with team-building and culture-focused initiatives.\nBenefits, Leave, and HR Operations\nAdminister benefit enrollments for new hires and qualifying life events.\nAssist with annual open enrollment activities and respond to team member questions about benefit programs.\nCoordinate leave programs, including FMLA, PFL, DBL, Workers’ Compensation, and other leave requests.\nMaintain accurate team member information within HRIS, ATS, and benefits systems.\nAssist with HR reporting, audits, compliance, and record-retention activities.\nHelp ensure HR processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures remain current and effective.\nSupport strategic HR initiatives and projects led by the Vice President of Human Resources. \n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.\nAt least three years of experience in human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related area.\nExperience coordinating multiple hiring processes simultaneously.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nClear, professional, and efficient verbal and written communication.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR technology, including applicant tracking systems.\nA growth mindset and a desire to learn and grow an HR Career!\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with full-cycle recruiting in commercial construction or a related industry.\nTravel\nRegular local travel as the role necessitates for recruiting events, career fairs, community partnerships, training programs, and company events.\nCompensation Package:\nCompetitive base wages starting between $70,000 to $85,000 annual base per year with annual salary review and bonus eligibility.\nHybrid work option (3/2) flexed as
