As a Senior System Engineer, you will deliver a World Class Experience by performing a variety of complex duties in the strategizing, developing, and operating of the bank’s information technology cloud, datacenter, server, desktop, network, hypervisor, and application infrastructure. This includes building, releasing, securing, maintaining, provisioning, monitoring, reporting, remediation, and business continuity processes. Covering all onsite and cloud environments, physical and virtual servers, email and database servers, hypervisor, virtual desktop infrastructure, hybrid networking, endpoint and mobile device management, backups, identity management, cybersecurity operations, disaster recovery, and directory management in a Microsoft environment. Position is responsible for engineering solutions in the Microsoft Azure cloud, on-premise infrastructure, virtual desktop infrastructure, group policy and intune management, mobile devices, applications, SSL certificate renewals, cybersecurity operations, reporting, server, workstation, application, endpoint, backups, end user issues, cybersecurity issues, and day to day operations. You will be located in Goleta, CA with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nA college Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field of study or equivalent work experience required.\n8-10 years’ experience in Microsoft system administration and engineering required.\nStrong experience with hypervisor technologies, Azure cloud server, network technologies, virtual desktop infrastructure, and DevOps preferred.\nStrong system experience in web servers, app servers, database servers, endpoint deployment, endpoint configuration, automation, and ExchangeOnline cloud email preferred.\nStrong security and protection experience in backups, disaster recovery, identity and access management, end point security, and monitoring preferred.\nStrong experience in Microsoft Server, Cloud, Active Directory technologies with certifications preferred.\nYour Responsibilities\nThe essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:\nPlanning, designing, implementing and configuration of server, system, and application based projects.\nWorking with vendors for support, upgrades and incident response.\nSecuring our environment through protection, detection and responding to threats.\nEnsuring business continuity through backups, recovering and system resilience activities.\nMaintaining the server environment by ensuring regular patching and other routines to ensure a healthy and protected environment.\nManaging service requests, provision requests and questions as assigned.\nManaging AD, PKI, Certificates, deployments, configuration, firewalls, scanning tools, application installs, server upgrades and all other tools used to manage our windows server environment.\nMonitoring of performance, threats and other events that negatively impact our system environment.\nDeveloping and maintaining policies, procedures and documentation of all server and system functions.\nTraining and mentoring other System Engineers within the department.\nYour Benefits\nWorkplace Culture that Values YOU\nCompetitive Pay\nMedical, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance\n401K Matching/Retirement Planning\nPaid Vacation Time, Sick Time, Federal Holidays, & Volunteer Time\nAssociate Bank Accounts\nBank Gatherings, Events, & Associate Engagement Activities \nIndividual pay is based on a multitude of factors, including candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform in the position and pay equity.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nMontecito Bank & Trust is an equal opportunity employer.
