The Category Manager will develop and execute category strategies that align organizationalobjectives, operational requirements, supplier market dynamics, and financial goals. Working collaboratively with business leaders across Facilities, Human Resources, Finance, Construction, and other operational departments, this individual will drive contractual compliance, supplier performance, risk mitigation, value realization, and continuous improvement across Montefiore's non-clinical portfolio.The Category Manager willestablishand manage strategic supplier relationships,utilizingperformance metrics, business reviews, and market intelligence to improve service, reduce risk, and maximize value.\n Qualifications\nBS Science or Business Administration Degree Required - Masters Preferred\nMinimum offive(5) years’contract management and/or property management experience with a focus on indirect spend Required\nKnowledgeable in Supply Chain Management \nKnowledge of ERP,Contract Management Software,Inventory Systems\nKnowledge of Healthcareindirect and non-clinicalspendcategories.\nKnowledge of Accountingprinciples, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, market and supplier research and analysis \nUnderstanding of market dynamics and business judgment\nMS office suite\nERP and current supply chain information systems\nContract Management Software\nEDI/GHX\nInventory Management Software\nMontefiore Health System, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
