Key responsibilities include engaging community and faith-based leaders to support participant recruitment, data management, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and oversight of research platforms such as SurveyMonkey, Dedoose, and REDCap. The Research Associate will ensure seamless project operations, maintain effective communication with participants, build strong community partnership with CBO leaders, and contribute to program sustainability. The role will also support manuscript writing, poster preparation and presentations, and grant writing and may help facilitate community conversation circles, focus groups, and codesign sessions.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate research activities, including participant recruitment, screening, and consent management in compliance with institutional guidelines.\n\nManage data collection and analysis using SurveyMonkey, Dedoose, and REDCap.\n\nPrepare manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and grant proposals; develop presentations and reports for funding agencies.\n\nConduct literature reviews and contribute to survey question development and build surveys in survey monkey and redcap.\n\nMaintain accurate documentation and source materials.\n\nFacilitate community conversations and codesign sessions\n\nSupport administrative tasks and resolve issues proactively.\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Skills & Competencies\nProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems quickly.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).\n\nHighly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing shifting priorities.\n\nAbility to work independently and make informed decisions.\n\nProfessional interpersonal skills for engaging diverse individuals and teams.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree required.
