Mentored by an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator II or Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator, the CRC I is responsible for the primary data collection and management of patient clinical information as it pertains to participation in clinical trials.\nEnsures timely collection of protocol related samples including shipment to outside entities as required. This individual obtains informed consent for non-interventional studies, participates and supports investigators in the informed consent process for interventional trials, collects, maintains and organizes study information including compilation, registration and submission of data, as required by the Sponsor. Attends clinic as needed to perform activities including, but not limited to: assist the research team with recruitment activities, administer questionnaires.\nEssential Functions:\nCollects and records study data. Inputs all information into database\n\nAssists in the activities related to clinical research studies including but not limited to: answering phone calls, screening participants for eligibility, registering subjects with sponsoring agency, administering lifestyle questionnaires.\n\nMaintains source documents and subject files in accordance with hospital procedures.\n\nEnsures accurate and complete compilation of subject data through chart reviews.\n\nUpon assignment and under direct supervision, coordinates SFV, SIVs and monitor scheduling-- including remote access setup--for multiple studies.\n\nSecures, delivers and ships clinical specimens as required by the protocol.\n\nQualifications\nBachelors Degree Required\nMasters Degree Preferred\nACRP (or SOCRA) certification preferred\nBachelor's degree in life science or public health, preferred\nMedical Degree (or foreign equivalent), Preferred\nMontefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
