This role is also critical to scaling our data and insights capabilities, empowering teams with actionable insights, and supporting our mission to improve Patient healthcare.\nJob Summary\nThe position of Senior AI Engineer within the Data and Analytics function leverages their skills across Predictive, Generative, and Agentic AI solutions to improve health for a diverse community and redesign the healthcare experiences. You have the opportunity to work with complex AI/ML/LLM-based solutions in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving landscape, answering critical business and clinical questions. This role is critical to scaling our analytics capabilities, empowering teams with actionable insights, and supporting our mission to improve Patient healthcare. You will be part of our rapidly evolving high-performing team that is directly focused on tangible solutions that improve patient access, reduce clinician burnout, create optimal operations, and thoughtfully deploy data & analytics solutions.\nEssential Functions:\nLead the design, development, and maintenance of ML/AI related platforms and products.\nPropose, design, develop and implement cloud-based AI solutions that ensure the agility, flexibility, and scalability of our systems.\nDrive technical design discussions and provide guidance to team members on MLOps best practices, standards and principles.\nCollaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to drive the development of new features and products, ensuring they meet the Montefiore’s AI governance standards and policies.\nIdentify and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and trends that can drive ML/AI innovation and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering processes.\nEnsure reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance of AI/ML systems in production environments.\nDemonstrate high ownership and accountability for project deliverables in a fast-paced startup environment.\nQuickly learn and adapt to new AI/ML technological concepts and tools as needed.\nFoster a collaborative and innovative culture, set clear goals, and mentor staff\n Qualifications:\nBS Data Analytics\n10+ years Design, development, and support for ML/AI related platforms and products\nSolid understanding of statistical methods and principles\nBuild and Deploy a diverse set of ML models (GLM, GBM, Neural Networks) and NLP solutions at scale.\nKnowledge in Python and relevant ML libraries, out-of-the box LLMs, Generative AI solutions and LLMOps\nAutomation of ML workflows and pipelines\nExperience in AI managed services like H20, Snowflake Cortex etc.\nExperience in Snowflake\nKnowledge in healthcare preferably in a provider domain\nExperience with clinical data platforms, such as EPIC etc.\nMontefiore Health System, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
