This includes steam engines, air compressors, and auxiliary systems that provide steam, electric power, and other essential services to the facility.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate and maintain boilers, steam engines, air compressors, and related power plant equipment.\nMonitor systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.\nInspect, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and engines.\nMaintain accurate logs and records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.\nRespond to emergency situations and perform corrective actions as needed.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nHigh School iploma or equivalent; technical training in boiler operation or HVAC preferred.\nValid NYC Stationary Engineer License required.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in boiler operation and maintenance in a healthcare or industrial setting.\nCompletion of a trade apprenticeship program and have five years of experience as a Stationary Engineer.\nStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\nMust also possess the following certificates: S-12 Citywide Sprinkler Systems, S-13 Citywide Standpipe System, G-71 Supervision of Piped Non-Flammable Medical Gases, G-60 Torch Use of Flammable Gases, F-60 Fire Guard for Torch Operations & Const.
