In this role, you’ll work hands-on with:\n\nApplication Development\nPython for backend services, APIs, automation, and data engineering\nReact for front-end web interfaces and internal tools\nREST APIs that deliver data and tooling to business users\n\nData Platform\nSnowflake as our cloud data warehouse\ndbt for modular, version-controlled data transformations\nAirflow for orchestration and workflow automation\nSQL for data modeling and analysis\n\nInfrastructure & Delivery\nAWS for cloud infrastructure and services\nDocker and CI/CD pipelines for automated, reliable deployment\nGit for version control and CI/CD\nAbout Your Team\nYou'll join an entrepreneurial, collaborative team that builds the data, reporting, and analytics systems powering MONTICELLOAM’s operations and executive team. You'll work closely with the executive team, business stakeholders, and our offshore development teams to turn requirements into delivered solutions. Each team member owns their solutions, beyond just the technical implementation.\nWhat you'll own:\nDesigning and building the data pipelines that bring data from all our systems into our single source of truth (Snowflake, Airflow, dbt)\nBuilding full-stack internal applications - React front ends on Python APIs, including CRUD tools - that put data directly in front of business users\nDeveloping interactive web dashboards that accelerate data insights and decision making\n\nYou'll also contribute to:\nEvolving our data models and warehouse architecture\nData quality frameworks and automated QC processes\nDeployment, CI/CD, and monitoring that keep our systems running reliably\nContributing to AI initiatives across processes and analytics, including helping shape new AI solutions\nQualifications\nCore:\nTwo to five years of work experience building and deploying software end to end - from concept through production\nStrong Python skills across data engineering, backend services, and APIs\nHands-on experience building data pipelines and transformations (Airflow, dbt, or similar)\nExperience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and SQL\nProven ability to propose and execute solutions for non-technical stakeholders\nAlso valuable:\nDevOps experience - Docker, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and AWS\nFront-end development with React\nGit and CI/CD practices\nFamiliarity with HIPAA and safeguarding protected health information (PHI), given the resident data we handle\nWe welcome applicants from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds.
