Montu is a leading medical cannabis company in the UK. Our integrated ecosystem streamlines the patient experience from beginning to end while establishing new benchmarks in cannabis care.

At Montu, we are on a mission to transform access to medical cannabis treatment across the UK, and we are growing fast!

We are looking for a Prescription Support Coordinator to join our team in King's Cross, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail and enjoys being part of a team that makes a genuine difference to patients' lives.

You do not need previous pharmacy experience. What matters most is your ability to work accurately, stay organised and bring a positive, proactive approach to everything you do.

If you are looking to be part of an ambitious, growing business where your work really matters, we would love to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Prescription Support Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting our prescription operations, ensuring patient requests are reviewed accurately, processed efficiently and managed in line with our established procedures.

You will be responsible for reviewing a high volume of prescription requests, contacting patients to discuss alternative prescription quantities and ensuring their preferences are accurately recorded.

Working closely with our clinical and operational teams, you will help keep our prescription processes running smoothly while delivering a positive and professional patient experience.

This is a fast-paced, process-driven role that requires excellent attention to detail, consistency and the ability to maintain accuracy when completing repetitive tasks.

While you will not be making clinical decisions, you will need the confidence to recognise when something requires clinical input and escalate appropriately.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Reviewing and processing a high volume of prescription requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.

  • Contacting patients by telephone, email or messaging platforms to discuss alternative prescription quantities and accurately record their preferences.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records across internal systems.

  • Identifying discrepancies, unusual requests or queries requiring clinical input and escalating these to the appropriate pharmacist or prescriber.

  • Working closely with clinical and operational colleagues to ensure prescription requests progress efficiently.

  • Monitoring outstanding requests and following up where necessary to minimise delays to patient care.

  • Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and identifying opportunities to improve existing processes.

  • Handling sensitive patient information confidentially and in accordance with GDPR.

  • Delivering clear, professional and compassionate communication to patients.

  • Working towards daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets while maintaining high standards of quality.

What You Will Need

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, has a natural eye for detail and takes pride in getting things right.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in administration, data entry, customer support or another process-driven role where accuracy is essential.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain concentration when completing repetitive, high-volume tasks.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to recognise when an issue needs escalating.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach to patient interactions.

  • Confidence using computer systems, databases and spreadsheets, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.

  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.

  • A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach to working within a growing business.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • Previous experience working within healthcare, pharmacy or a patient-focused environment.

  • An understanding of prescription processes or medical terminology.

  • Experience handling confidential patient information and an understanding of GDPR within healthcare.

Previous pharmacy experience is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, excellent attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering a great patient experience.

What We Offer

  • Generous Leave: 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after year one and 30 after year three) + 8 bank holidays

  • Pension Matching: Up to 5% employer matching contributions

  • Flexibility and Wellness: Work-from-home options, cycle-to-work scheme, and more

  • Growth Opportunities: Collaborate across teams and represent Montu at events, with support to grow your skills and impact

  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Leave
