What matters most is your ability to work accurately, stay organised and bring a positive, proactive approach to everything you do.\nIf you are looking to be part of an ambitious, growing business where your work really matters, we would love to hear from you!\nAbout the Role\nAs a Prescription Support Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting our prescription operations, ensuring patient requests are reviewed accurately, processed efficiently and managed in line with our established procedures.\nYou will be responsible for reviewing a high volume of prescription requests, contacting patients to discuss alternative prescription quantities and ensuring their preferences are accurately recorded.\nWorking closely with our clinical and operational teams, you will help keep our prescription processes running smoothly while delivering a positive and professional patient experience.\nThis is a fast-paced, process-driven role that requires excellent attention to detail, consistency and the ability to maintain accuracy when completing repetitive tasks.\nWhile you will not be making clinical decisions, you will need the confidence to recognise when something requires clinical input and escalate appropriately.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nReviewing and processing a high volume of prescription requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.\n\nContacting patients by telephone, email or messaging platforms to discuss alternative prescription quantities and accurately record their preferences.\n\nMaintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records across internal systems.\n\nIdentifying discrepancies, unusual requests or queries requiring clinical input and escalating these to the appropriate pharmacist or prescriber.\n\nWorking closely with clinical and operational colleagues to ensure prescription requests progress efficiently.\n\nMonitoring outstanding requests and following up where necessary to minimise delays to patient care.\n\nFollowing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and identifying opportunities to improve existing processes.\n\nHandling sensitive patient information confidentially and in accordance with GDPR.\n\nDelivering clear, professional and compassionate communication to patients.\n\nWorking towards daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets while maintaining high standards of quality.\n\nWhat You Will Need\nWe are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, has a natural eye for detail and takes pride in getting things right.\nEssential Skills and Experience\nPrevious experience in administration, data entry, customer support or another process-driven role where accuracy is essential.\n\nExceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain concentration when completing repetitive, high-volume tasks.\n\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.\n\nA practical, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to recognise when an issue needs escalating.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach to patient interactions.\n\nConfidence using computer systems, databases and spreadsheets, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.\n\nA commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.\n\nA proactive, reliable and adaptable approach to working within a growing business.\n\nIt Would Be Great If You Also Have\nPrevious experience working within healthcare, pharmacy or a patient-focused environment.\n\nAn understanding of prescription processes or medical terminology.\n\nExperience handling confidential patient information and an understanding of GDPR within healthcare.\n\nPrevious pharmacy experience is not essential.
