This is a rare opportunity to reinvent a $50 billion market from the ground up.\nAs a Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the next phase of our platform’s evolution. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to define product strategy, shape requirements, prioritize impactful improvements, and lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality enhancements at scale.\nYour Responsibilities\nConduct discovery on new features, thoroughly analyzing business requirements, competitive analysis, and customer/stakeholder feedback. \nWrite detailed PRDs that clearly articulate business objectives, system architecture impacts, data flows, and API contract requirements. Collaborate with Engineering to ensure feasibility and alignment with platform strategy. Validate these requirements with customers and internal stakeholders.\nBreak down requirements into well-defined Epics and Stories ready to be picked up by engineers. Stories should contain well-defined UI/UX requirements, business logic, API dependencies, and acceptance criteria. \nLead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups and retrospectives.\nProactively communicate risks, blockers, and timeline changes early to keep stakeholders aligned and work moving forward.\nPartner with engineering leads to define integration strategies, data contracts, and API design that support scalability and partner needs.\nCollaborate with external partners and internal platform teams to scope, sequence, and deliver robust integrations, ensuring data integrity, performance, and long-term maintainability.\nTest and validate features before release, ensuring requirements are fully implemented and edge cases are thoughtfully considered.\nDevelop deep expertise in Monument’s product, workflows, and customer use cases to inform strong product decisions.\nWho You Are\n5+ years of experience in a Product Management role at a software company.\nExperience working within complex accounting, billing, payments, or financial systems. You understand the nuances of financial workflows, reconciliation, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.\nYou set yourself apart with your thoroughness and attention to detail.\nYou thrive in a fast paced environment; new challenges excite you and you are able to tackle shifting priorities without losing focus or urgency.\nYou take ownership of your product area.
