The squad’s remit includes:\nMaintaining our public facing website monzo.com\nEnsuring that it scales for international expansion\nBuilding our component library\nMaintaining our content management system\nEvery day you’ll be:\nWorking closely with the Product Manager and other cross-discipline peers.\nIdentifying and scoping opportunities for impactful projects.\nActively contributing to every stage in the product development lifecycle within your team, and owning the development of new features from start to finish.\nWorking closely with other engineers to scope and build out functionality to support new frontend features.\nYou should apply if:\nYou love building products in cross disciplinary teams using an iterative approach, driven by user feedback and data insight.\nYou care deeply about providing a great user experience for our users.\nYou have an interest in building performant, secure, scalable web experiences and designing/building UI that makes it easy for users to accomplish what they need.\nYou enjoy diving deep into dashboards, metrics, and then making decisions/recommendations based on impact.\nYou enjoy working in a large front-end codebase with many stakeholders.\nYou understand the importance of prioritisation in your work to ensure a good balance between development velocity and code quality.\nYou have developed modern component-oriented JavaScript applications using frameworks and libraries (e.g React, Vue, Angular, Flow/Typescript, Webpack etc).\nYou are a keen learner and love sharing your knowledge with others.\nOur software engineers have a variety of different backgrounds\nWe have plenty of non-graduates: only some of us studied Computer Science; some of us have worked in huge companies; some have only ever worked in startups and others are former consultants. As long as you enjoy learning new things, we’d love to talk to you.\nCompensation\nOur salary range for the role is £85,000 - £115,000 depending on experience, plus Incentive Awards tied to your performance and other benefits\nLogistics\nThis role can be based in our London office by Liverpool Street, but we're open to distributed/remote working.
