Job Description

Are you passionate about precision, process improvement, and driving excellence in manufacturing? Moog Military Aircraft Group Wolverhampton is seeking a proactive and technically adept OSV Quality Auditor to lead audits, support operator training, and champion continuous improvement across our production and development environments.

You’ll play a critical role in assessing risk, ensuring process conformity, and enhancing product quality through hands-on inspection, collaboration, and problem-solving. This is a high-impact position ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, technical depth, and cross-functional teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute audits to evaluate process effectiveness and operator competency
  • Assist in training operators on quality procedures and inspection methods
  • Provide technical guidance to operators on workmanship standards
  • Support Business Systems and product audits as needed
  • Collaborate on problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Report findings and improvement opportunities to Management
  • Sample inspect parts using advanced inspection techniques

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate’s degree in a technological field or equivalent technical training (e.g., apprenticeship)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in precision machining, assembly, or test processes
  • Experience in auditing techniques and statistical sampling methods
  • Strong proficiency in inspection techniques, gaging, and test equipment
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently across diverse production areas
