MOOG has partnered with NASA to provide electronic solutions for the Artemis Orion Crew Capsule, Viper Lunar Rover, Satellite Laser Communications Relay, OSIRIS-REX to study asteroid composition along with complete satellite buses for the defense department.\nMOOG Space and Defense Group is seeking an Engineering Associate - Electrical / Electronic Design Engineer.\nThe Engineering Associate position is an entry level individual contributor role within the Electrical Engineering team. The focus is to leverage the basic principles, theories and methods acquired through education and jobs / internships and apply these to analog, digital or power designs. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn the many aspects of design and product development specific to Space / Defense environments. If you have the drive and enthusiasm to work with a team of high performers and learn from the best, this job is for you!\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign Analog and high-speed digital circuits, including schematic capture and PCB layout specifications.\nCollaborate across disciplines to define product requirements and deliver technical presentations.\nLeverage modeling programs and tools to simulate circuits and interfaces and reduce design risks.\nDocument designs, analyses, and results with clear, concise reports.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.\nDeep understanding of the basic principles of electrical / electronic engineering design - having worked with processors, digital logic, analog circuits, and basic power circuits\nKnowledge of board design (interface requirements), schematic creation, and digital simulation.\nStrong communication skills and ability to produce technical documentation.\nExperience with lab instrumentation (DMM, Oscilloscope, …) to perform troubleshooting (hands-on), board bring-up, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.\nProblem solving skills\nOrganization skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Schematic Capture / Creation tools & PCB Layout Tools\nKnowledge of Space grade electronics design and development.\nExperience with VHDL/Verilog coding for space applications.\nExperience with Signal Integrity analysis tools, PSPice, Mathcad and other essential design tools.\nSalary Range Transparency:\nPhoenix, AZ $75,000.00-$105,000.00 AnnuallySalary Range Disclaimer\nThe base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.
