You will report to the Machining Operations Manager and will have an onsite, 1st shift work schedule in Orrville, Ohio.\nTo be considered for the Associate Logistics Technician position, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:\nHigh School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. \n1 year of experience in a related manufacturing environment.\nAs an Associate Logistics Technician, you will:\nPackage and prepare products for shipment per written and verbal instructions; includes coordination and scheduling delivery with trucking companies. \nReceive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries. \nMaintain and use multiple logistics programs, and software including email and messaging. \nEnsure labeling and packaging comply with contractual requirements, appropriate documentation completion before and after shipments. \nCommunicate and work with personnel from all departments. \nOperate fork trucks, pallet jacks, cranes and other material handling equipment. \nSafely operate packaging tools and machinery such as bag sealer, nail gun, table saw, and radial arm saw. \nDrive company vehicles to suppliers for drop off/pick up of hardware at vendor for processing. \nMaintain traceability of materials, including verifying that material matches vendor documentation and marking materials with trace numbers. \nAssist other areas including painting hardware, industrial actuator assembly and test procedures, and stocking or picking parts in stockroom. \nHow We Care for You:\nFinancial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities , matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance.\nHealth & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coverages.\nProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programs\nCulture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment driven by our 12 core values.
