The Engines Business Unit at the Moog Niagara Falls site supplies rocket engines, propellant tanks, and propulsion systems for a variety of spacecraft, launch vehicle, and strategic defense missions.\nWe are looking for an Associate Product Engineer to support our space propulsion hardware business as part of the technical team on recurring production programs. The successful candidate will work as part of the project team in pursuit of successful project execution. The associate product engineer will report directly to the Product and Project Engineering Manager.\nThis position will be based primarily out of the Niagara Falls facility, however travel between Niagara Falls and East Aurora facilities may also be required depending on the needs of particular programs.\nHere’s what you need to bring with you:\nBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering (or comparable field)\n\n3 years of related product or project engineering experience preferred, with a proven track record of successful completion of projects.\n\nSelf-starting instincts and an eagerness to own assigned aspects of a project or projects.\n\nAbility to work independently with a strong technical foundation.\n\nAbility to communicate and coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, and test teammates.\n\nAbility to work onsite in Western New York (WNY), primarily out of Niagara Falls.\n\nThis position requires a full physical which includes bloodwork and pulmonary function testing.\n\nMust have the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance\n\nHere's what you'll be working on day to day:\nProvide assembly/test instructions and monitoring to maintain production.\n\nAssure and maintain design integrity, producibility, and quality in development and production products.\n\nDevelop and improve tools, fixtures, and test equipment.\n\nAssess non-conformances or technical issues that occur during assembly and test.\n\nParticipation in RCCA analyses that ensure long-term solutions to precent recurring problems.\n\nParticipate in customer presentations or technical review meetings.\n\nCoordinate with multiple departments to eliminate roadblocks and ensure on-time delivery of hardware.\n\nParticipate in hands-on prototyping of new products\n\nHow We Care For You:\nFinancial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities, matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\n\nWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance.\n\nHealth & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coverages.\n\nProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programs\n\nCulture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment driven by our 12 core values.
