You will report to the Manager, Operations and will have an onsite work schedule in Christiansburg, VA.\nAs a Cost and Value Engineer, you will drive initiatives to maximize product value while minimizing costs throughout the entire product life cycle. You will be a key contributor to the business capture and planning phase, where you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and financial viability. By leveraging bottom-up CVE methodologies, you will lead cross-functional teams to set optimization targets, evaluate technical solutions, and prepare robust cost data for new business proposals.\nAs a Cost and Value Engineer (CVE), you will:\nCost Optimization & Strategy: Apply the CVE methodologies to identify, evaluate, and realize cost potential.Lead process and technology optimization at suppliers along the value chain.\n\nProposal Coordination: Support and coordinate the efforts of cost estimating teams.
