In partnership with the Data Management Business Partner and functional stakeholders, this role defines data needs, analyzes and visualizes data, promotes adoption of governance practices, and translates business questions into actionable insights. The analyst may also lead defined components of data management and analytics projects, processes, or programs.\nThis role offers a first shift, onsite schedule at either our East Aurora, NY or Torrance, CA locations.\nThe salary for this position is based on the candidate's geographic location, which is determined by the cost of labor and cost of living in their area. The pay ranges are set according to the following zones:\nZone 1 (East Aurora, NY)\nAnnual Salary: $105,000-$125,000K\n\nZone 2 (Torrance, California)\nAnnual Salary: $120,000-$140,000K\n\nKey responsibilities include:\nPartner with the Data Management Business Partner to deploy data governance practices, organizational change management activities, and data fluency initiatives across the business.\nDefine and document business data requirements, data quality needs, and reporting and analytics use cases in partnership with functional stakeholders.\nCollect, prepare, clean, analyze, and visualize data sets to identify patterns, trends, risks, and opportunities that support business decision-making.\nDevelop dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs that translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for business users.\nSupport data governance adoption by helping business teams understand and apply data standards, ownership and stewardship responsibilities, and process expectations.\nContribute to organizational change management and communication activities that increase awareness, adoption, and effective use of data management practices.\nCommunicate insights, recommendations, and data governance expectations to technical and non-technical stakeholders within and outside the function.\nIdentify opportunities to improve the efficiency, consistency, and automation of recurring data analysis, reporting, and data management processes.\nDepending on the scope of the assignment, the role may also:\nLead defined components of data governance, organizational change management, and data fluency initiatives in partnership with the Data Management Business Partner and business stakeholders.\nIndependently develop analytical models and advanced visualizations when needed to address complex business questions, identify trends and patterns, and improve decision-making.\nSolve complex data or process problems by applying advanced data management and analytics knowledge and adapting established methods or solutions to new business contexts. \nProvide analytical inputs for broader data science, data mining, process improvement, or transformation initiatives as needed.\nCoordinate, coach, guide, or review the work of contributors within assigned projects, processes, or programs while maintaining independent responsibility for assigned deliverables. \nImplement scalable solutions that improve the efficiency, consistency, and automation of recurring data analysis, reporting, and data management processes.\nTo be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:\nBachelor’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.\nPlus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, data governance, or a related field.\nAdvanced knowledge of data analytics concepts, methods, and principles, including requirements definition, data preparation, analysis, modeling, visualization, and interpretation.\nAbility to connect analytics concepts and data management practices to broader business processes, stakeholder needs, and decision-making priorities.\nExperience working independently on defined components or entire projects, processes, or programs with minimal guidance and review at critical points.\nStrong communication skills, including the ability to engage parties within and outside the function and explain data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.\nDemonstrated ability to solve complex data or process problems by applying advanced data management and analytics knowledge and adapting established methods or solutions to new business contexts.\nTravel: Less than 10%\nIt would be great if you also had:\nExperience supporting ERP, MES, or enterprise platform modernization programs.\nFamiliarity with structured delivery methods (e.g., waterfall-hybrid, agile-hybrid, stage-gate).\nExperience with data, analytics, and reporting platforms such as Databricks, SQL Server, Power BI, Power Apps, or
