In addition to preparing investigative reports, you will conduct root-cause analyses and prepare and distribute reports of lessons learned throughout Moog. You will monitor and help to facilitate the remediation of any investigation findings, as well as maintain and track metrics related to cases submitted through the Moog’s ethics and compliance hotline. You will interface regularly with outside counsel and consultants, HR, Internal Audit, Finance, and other stakeholders to conduct these investigations and otherwise support the Moog “speak-up” culture.\nThe ideal candidate will have a hybrid schedule at our Corporate Headquarters in East Aurora, NY, however a remote schedule within the United States and near a major international airport may be available for the right candidate.\nTo be considered for the Ethics and Compliance Partner role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:\nBachelor’s degree in compliance, risk management, or related field.\nOver seven (7) years of investigative experience, including cross-border investigations from a similar manufacturing background; aerospace & defense highly preferred.\nStrong analytical and communication skills.\nAdaptable to change.\nAbility to handle multiple and diverse tasks with varying deadlines.\nWillingness to support significant domestic and international travel.\nIt would also be beneficial if you had:\nAdvanced degree or credentials in the compliance, legal, audit, or related fields.\nExperience using Navex or other whistleblower systems.\nExperience working with a public company.\nExperience conducting investigations in heavily regulated industries.\nAs the Ethics and Compliance Partner, you will have the following responsibilities:\nInvestigations\nConduct investigations arising from the Company’s ethics and compliance hotline.\nPrepare and update investigation procedures.\nManage investigations arising from the Company’s ethics and compliance hotline that require involvement from outside counsel, consultants, and other external parties.\nConduct root-cause analyses.\nPrepare and maintain investigation reports.\nSpeak-Up Culture\nPrepare documentation to support the Company’s speak-up culture, such as lessons learned from investigation findings.\nMonitor and facilitate the remediation of investigation findings.\nMaintain and track metrics related to cases submitted through the Company’s ethics and compliance hotline.\nAssist with the launch of global ethics liaison network.\nCoordinate ongoing meetings with ethics liaison network to ensure alignment with charter.\nAssist with raising Company-wide awareness of ethics and compliance.\nProvide periodic reporting.\nHow We Care for You:\nFinancial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities, matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance.\nHealth & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coverages.\nProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programs\nCulture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment driven by our 12 core values.
