This role will partner with business stakeholders, suppliers, legal teams, and cross-functional partners to drive value, manage risk, optimize supplier relationships, and support strategic sourcing initiatives. You will report to the Sr. Procurement Manager and enjoy a a hybrid work structure, based in our East Aurora, NY facility.\nTo be considered for the Indirect Procurement Lead role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, vendor management, contract administration, IT asset management, or a related discipline.\n2 years of experience supporting IT, Telecommunications, Software, Cloud Services, Infrastructure, SaaS, or Technology-related procurement categories.\nExperience supporting sourcing initiatives, supplier selection processes, commercial negotiations, and contract review activities.\nWorking knowledge of supplier agreements, contract terms and conditions, and contract administration best practices.\nExperience collaborating with legal, finance, cybersecurity, compliance, or other business stakeholders on supplier and contractual matters.\nStrong understanding of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management, and category management.\nDemonstrated ability to evaluate supplier proposals, pricing structures, and total cost of ownership models.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional certifications such as CPSM, CPSD, CSCP, CPM, or other related procurement and supply chain certifications.\nExperience in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industry.\nExperience supporting global procurement operations and supplier management activities.\nKnowledge of supplier risk management, software licensing agreements, cloud services agreements, and technology procurement best practices.\nExperience using enterprise procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, or similar systems.\nAs an Indirect Procurement Lead, you will:\nSupport enterprise-wide IT and Telecom procurement activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and procurement strategies.\nPrepare, review, negotiate, and administer supplier agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.\nSupport contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, and commercial discussions with IT and Telecom suppliers.\nCollaborate closely with Legal, Trade Compliance, Cybersecurity, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure contractual and operational requirements are addressed.\nPartner with internal and external legal counsel and contracts teams to review supplier terms and conditions and mitigate business risk.\nManage supplier onboarding activities and maintain accurate procurement, contract, and supplier records.\nSupport sourcing events, supplier evaluations, supplier selection processes, and competitive bidding initiatives.\nCreate, issue, and manage purchase orders, requisitions, amendments, and related procurement documentation.\nAnalyze supplier proposals, pricing structures, and total cost of ownership to support strategic procurement decisions.\nIdentify, assess, and escalate commercial, contractual, operational, and supplier-related risks while recommending mitigation strategies.\nContribute to the development and execution of category strategies for IT and Telecom spend categories.\nMonitor supplier performance and support supplier relationship management activities to drive continuous improvement and value creation.\nAnalyze spend data and sourcing opportunities to identify cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.\nWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers to achieve procurement objectives and business goals.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement processes, contract management practices, and supplier performance.\nTravel up to 10%\nWhat Success Looks Like\nIn this role, you will be a trusted procurement partner who helps drive strategic sourcing initiatives, strengthens supplier relationships, reduces risk, and delivers measurable value across Moog's IT and Telecom spend categories.
