(Formal schedule is M-Th, 7:00am - 4:00pm, every other Fri 7:00am - 3:00pm)\nTo be considered for this Manufacturing Engineer role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:\nBachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.\nMinimum of 3+ years of experience in a production, design, development, or complex assemblies’ environment.\nExperience with mechanical design using NX or SolidWorks. \nInterpersonal skills to communicate at all levels within Moog and with customers/vendors.\nAbility to work independently, take ownership of projects, and follow through with minimal oversight.\nStrong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.\nAbility to simultaneously support and complete a large and varied list of tasks.\nExperience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\nMotivation and willingness to drive and support continuous improvement activities.\nIt would be great if you also had:\nBackground with automation, robotics, or PLC/controls.\nHands-on experience with machining, mills/lathes, 3D printing, or prototyping.\nFamiliarity with JIRA or similar project/ticketing systems.\nExperience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments.\nMasters of Science degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering no experience minimum required\nAs our Manufacturing Engineer, you will add incredible value to the team by holding responsibility for:\nDesign manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and components using NX or SolidWorks.\nDevelop rapid prototypes using inhouse 3D printing equipment and shop tools.\nDevelop detailed design solutions to improve manufacturing processes with a focus on safety, effectiveness, repeatability, efficiency, and ease of use.\nIdentify opportunities to address unsafe, highly variable, inefficient, or difficult processes and propose continuous improvement concepts with cost/benefit considerations.\nLead process-improvement project design, build, integration, verification, and operator training.\nProvide hands-on support to the production line, assisting with troubleshooting, equipment upkeep, and continuous improvement activities.\nSupport and lead automation initiatives, including robotics, new equipment, and modernization efforts.\nObtain input from operators regarding equipment functionality and design; educate operators on new processes, features, and equipment capabilities.\nShare manufacturing technologies and ideas with engineering teams to increase understanding of manufacturing options.\nDesign and configure manufacturing line layouts for efficient throughput.\nUse JIRA or similar systems to manage tasks, track progress, and communicate project timelines.\nParticipate in or lead business-case development for new projects.\nParticipate in daily stand-up meetings and collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operators across the facility.\nIn return, we care for you by providing incredible “work perks” including:\n Financial Rewards: Great compensation package, bonus opportunities, matching 401k and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts \nWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance \n Health & Wellbeing: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coverages \nProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programs \nCollaborative and Welcoming Culture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment rooted in our 12 core values.
