You will report to our Performance Leader and will have an onsite work schedule in Torrance, CA.\nYou will perform precision mechanical assembly and fabrication operations in support of aerospace component manufacturing. You are responsible for installing bushings and threaded inserts, matched-hole drilling, chemical etching preparation, mechanical assembly, and operating a variety of conventional manufacturing equipment. You work from engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications to produce high-quality aerospace hardware while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.\nTo be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:\nHigh School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division\nMinimum 3 years or more of Assembly experience\nAbility to read blueprints\nExperience in the Aerospace industry\nBasic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)\nAs a Manufacturing Sub Assembly Technician, you will:\nInstall and size aerospace bushings, bearings, sleeves, and related hardware to engineering requirements.\nInstall and inspect helicoils and other threaded inserts per aerospace specifications.\nPerform matched-hole drilling and reaming operations to ensure proper alignment and fit of mating components.\nExecute precision assembly of subassemblies using fasteners, rivets, bushings, pins, and associated hardware.\nPrepare components for chemical etching and perform chem-etch operations in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.\nOperate arbor presses and hydraulic presses for installation, removal, and fitting of aerospace components.\nSet up and operate conventional milling machines, drill presses, and related machine shop equipment.\nPerform drilling, countersinking, counterboring, reaming, deburring, and other fabrication processes.\nInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, process sheets, and work instructions.\nVerify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, depth gauges, and pin gauges.\nConduct in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality and engineering requirements.\nMaintain accurate production records and complete required manufacturing documentation.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production personnel to resolve technical and production issues.\nHow We Care for You:\nFinancial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities , matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance\nHealth & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coverages\nProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development, and other personal growth programs\nCulture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment driven by our 12 core values.
