This role is heavily focused on engineering scalable, user-centric solutions that enhance the end-user experience while maintaining security, compliance, and operational excellence.\nThe Mobility Engineer serves as the technical subject matter expert for Apple device management through Microsoft Intune and supports the lifecycle management of mobile devices and services. While providing escalated support when required, the primary focus of the role is engineering, automation, process development, documentation, and platform optimization. The role also manages the organization's Tangoe mobile service platform, including mobile line provisioning, inventory management, reporting, and carrier coordination.\nThis role is hybrid based out of our East Aurora, NY offices.\nTo be considered for the Mobility Engineer role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:\nFive (5) years of experience managing Apple devices in an enterprise environment.\nFive (5) years of experience administering Microsoft Intune.\nExperience managing iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices at scale.\nKnowledge of Apple Business Manager and automated device enrollment.\nExperience with mobile device management (MDM), compliance policies, and endpoint security controls.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nProven ability to create technical documentation and operational procedures.\nWe would also prefer the Mobility Engineer to have the following skills and experience:\nExperience managing mobile carrier services and Tangoe platforms.\nExperience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust architectures.\nExperience with PowerShell, shell scripting, or automation tools.\nMicrosoft Intune Administrator Associate certification.\nApple Device Support or Apple Deployment certifications.\nAs a Mobility Engineer, you will: \nEndpoint Engineering & Management\nDesign, deploy, and maintain enterprise mobility management solutions using Microsoft Intune.\nManage and support the full lifecycle of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices.\nDevelop and maintain device enrollment, provisioning, configuration, compliance, and security policies.\nImplement and manage application deployment strategies for Apple devices.\nEvaluate, test, and deploy new endpoint management capabilities and platform enhancements.\nBuild automation and self-service solutions that improve operational efficiency and end-user experience.\nPartner with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with corporate security standards and regulatory requirements.\nUser Experience & Service Improvement\nChampion a user-first approach to mobility services and endpoint management.\nContinuously identify opportunities to improve device onboarding, application access, and overall user satisfaction.\nReduce friction in technology experiences through simplification, automation, and proactive support strategies.\nAnalyze user feedback and support trends to drive service enhancements and platform improvements.\nDocumentation & Knowledge Management\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.\nDevelop end-user guides, training materials, and self-service knowledge articles.\nDocument engineering standards, deployment processes, and support workflows.\nEnable Site Support teams through clear documentation, training, and knowledge transfer sessions.\nMobile Service Management (Tangoe)\nAdminister the organization's Tangoe mobile expense and service management platform.\nManage mobile line provisioning, modifications, suspensions, and disconnects.\nMaintain mobile inventory accuracy and lifecycle tracking.\nCoordinate with wireless carriers and vendors to resolve service issues and optimize mobile expenditures.\nMonitor usage, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide reporting on mobile assets and services.\nTechnical Support & Escalations\nAct as an escalation point for complex mobility and Apple platform-related issues.\nTroubleshoot advanced device management, enrollment, application, compliance, and access issues.\nCollaborate with Site Support, Service Desk, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to resolve technical challenges.\nParticipate in problem management activities to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.\nHow We Care For You:\nFinancial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities, matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program.\nHealth & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coverages.\nProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programs\nCulture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment driven by our 12 core values.
