You will report to the Site Engineering Manager and will have a hybrid work schedule in Mountain View, CA. This position follows a 9/80 work schedule, which provides every other Friday off!\nThe Structures and Motion Control Group supplies a variety of structures and vibration and shock control products for aerospace, marine, and commercial applications. The Project Design Engineer is a leader and contributor to the conceptual design, development, analysis, and testing of hardware used on military, commercial and NASA vehicles and equipment. In this role, you will operate either independently or as part of a larger design and development team including engineers across various departments. The primary focus is system/component design, development, production and testing, while maintaining defined budget and schedule milestones.\nYou will coordinate the work of technicians, designers, analysts, manufacturing/test engineers and others who assist in specific assignments. Facilitative leadership will also be required with program management, quality engineering, and operations.
